Lanxess® Synthetic Base Instruments & Bearing Oil Amber Liquid 1 GL Can 885-1GL

885-1GL
Description

ROYCO® 885 is a low-volatility synthetic instrument and bearing oil formulated from a diester base fluid. It provides oxidation and corrosion protection, anti-foaming performance and excellent low-temperature lubrication for precision aircraft systems.

Overview

ROYCO® 885 is a light amber synthetic lubricant designed for applications requiring low evaporation and reliable performance across a wide operating temperature range.

The formulation contains additives for oxidation inhibition, corrosion protection, rust prevention and foam control. It is suitable for aircraft instruments, air cycle equipment, bearings and precision accessories where a low-volatility synthetic lubricant is specified.

Because ROYCO 885 is synthetic ester-based, compatibility with paints, seals and elastomers should be confirmed before use.

Features & Benefits

  • Low volatility helps minimise evaporation in sealed instruments and precision equipment
  • Excellent oxidation and corrosion protection
  • Strong rust-prevention performance
  • Excellent low-temperature lubrication
  • Anti-foaming properties support smooth and consistent operation
  • Suitable for precision aircraft instruments and bearing applications
  • Wide operating temperature capability
