Description

This 6 oz cartridge contains PR-1425 Class B sealant, designed for aircraft windshields and canopies. It operates across a service temperature range from -65°F to 250°F, with intermittent exposure up to 275°F. The low-sag thixotropic paste provides excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates and is specifically formulated to resist crazing while offering good UV and weather resistance.

WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including carbon black (airborne, unbound particles of respirable size [= 10 micrometers]), chromium (hexavalent compounds), N,N-dimethylacetamide and crystalline silica (airborne particles of respirable size), which are known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Overview

Each 6 oz cartridge contains approximately 3.5 oz of sealant. PR-1425 Class B is an aircraft windshield and canopy sealant with a service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), with intermittent excursions up to 275°F (135°C).

This material is designed for fillet sealing of properly prepared glass, polycarbonate, acrylic and other aircraft sealing applications. It is specifically formulated not to craze these substrates, and the cured sealant provides excellent resistance to UV and weather exposure.

PR-1425 Class B is a two-part, dichromate-cured polysulfide compound. The uncured material is a low-sag, thixotropic paste suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula. It provides excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates.
