Description

Phillips 66 X/C 20W-50 is a multiviscosity aviation piston engine oil developed for opposed piston engines. It provides reliable lubrication across a wide range of operating temperatures and is suitable for both engine break-in and normal operation where approved by the engine manufacturer.

Its multigrade formulation supports easier cold-weather starting, faster oil circulation and strong lubricant film protection at higher operating temperatures.

Overview

Phillips 66 X/C 20W-50 is an ashless dispersant aviation oil formulated for year-round use in aircraft piston engines.

It can be used during engine break-in and then continued as the normal operating oil, eliminating the need to change to a different lubricant after the break-in period where permitted by the applicable engine manufacturer's instructions.

The ashless dispersant formulation helps control sludge, varnish, piston deposits and combustion chamber deposits while maintaining good oil circulation and film strength across varying operating temperatures.

Features & Benefits

  • Multiviscosity formulation for year-round operation
  • Suitable for many opposed aircraft piston engines
  • Ashless dispersant technology helps control sludge and deposits
