PR-1772 Class B is a low-weight aircraft fuselage sealant designed to reduce installed weight while maintaining reliable sealing performance. It has a service temperature range from -65°F to 250°F, with intermittent exposure up to 275°F.
The formulation can provide significant weight savings compared with conventional sealants used for similar applications, while maintaining good elastomeric properties after limited exposure to jet fuel and aviation gasoline.
WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including titanium dioxide (airborne, unbound particles of respirable size), which is known to the State of California to cause cancer. For more information visit www.P65Warnings.ca.gov .
PR-1772 Class B is a lightweight, chemically curing polysulfide sealant developed for aircraft fuselage sealing applications. It has a service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), with intermittent excursions up to 275°F (135°C).
The formulation can provide up to approximately 30% weight savings per unit volume compared with traditional sealants used for similar applications. Once cured, the sealant maintains good flexibility and elastomeric properties after limited exposure to jet fuel and aviation gasoline.
