PR-1750 Class B is a two-part, manganese dioxide-cured polysulfide aircraft fuel tank sealant designed for integral fuel tanks and fuselage sealing applications. It provides excellent resistance to jet fuel and aviation gasoline while maintaining strong adhesion and elastomeric properties across a wide temperature range.

Overview

PR-1750 Class B is an aircraft integral fuel tank sealant developed for fillet sealing of fuel tanks and other aircraft fuselage sealing applications.

It is a two-part, manganese dioxide-cured polysulfide compound supplied as a low-sag, thixotropic paste. The uncured material can be applied using an extrusion gun or spatula and cures at room temperature to form a resilient seal with excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates.

Once cured, PR-1750 Class B maintains excellent elastomeric properties after prolonged exposure to both jet fuel and aviation gasoline.
