PR-1428 Class B is a low-adhesion aerospace sealant designed for access door sealing, form-in-place gasket fabrication and protection of electrical components. It provides environmental protection while allowing easier removal for maintenance and inspection.

Overview

PR-1428 Class B is a low-adhesion, two-part polysulfide sealant designed for aerospace sealing applications where future access or removal may be required.

It has a service temperature range of approximately -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), with intermittent exposure up to 275°F (135°C).

The material is suitable for use as an access door sealant and for the fabrication of form-in-place gaskets. It may also be used to help protect electrical wires, terminals and equipment against fuel, moisture, dirt and short circuits.

PR-1428 Class B is available in two-part kits and Semco® / Semkit® cartridge configurations.
