Dow Corning® Xiameter® 736 Sealant Red, 300 mL cartridge

DOWSIL™ / XIAMETER™ RTV-736 Heat Resistant Sealant is a red, high-temperature silicone sealant supplied in a 300 mL cartridge. It is designed for demanding sealing, gasketing, bonding and encapsulating applications where components may be exposed to elevated temperatures.

Overview

RTV-736 is a red, paste-form silicone sealant with a specific gravity of approximately 1.04. It cures at room temperature and develops a durable, flexible seal suitable for high-temperature applications.

The sealant has an acetic acid odour during curing, a tensile strength of approximately 348 psi, and typically requires around 24 hours to cure.

It is suitable for continuous exposure to temperatures up to 260°C, with intermittent exposure up to 315°C.
