Dow Corning® XIAMETER® RTV736 Heat Resistant Silicone Sealant is a red, one-component silicone sealant supplied in a 90 mL tube. It is designed for high-temperature sealing and bonding applications and cures at room temperature to form a durable, flexible rubber.

Overview

Dow Corning® XIAMETER® RTV736 Series Heat Resistant Silicone Sealant is a red, acetoxy-cure silicone sealant with a non-sag paste consistency.

It has a specific gravity of approximately 1.04 and a tensile strength of approximately 348.1 psi. The sealant cures at room temperature when exposed to atmospheric moisture and typically requires approximately 24 hours to cure.

RTV736 is designed for demanding high-temperature applications. It can withstand continuous exposure up to approximately 260 °C and intermittent exposure up to approximately 315 °C.
