The formulation also includes metal deactivators and foam inhibitors to support reliable performance in aircraft hydraulic systems.

Overview

AeroShell Fluid 41 is a mineral hydraulic oil produced to a very high level of cleanliness, often referred to as “super clean.” It is formulated to provide improved hydraulic performance across a wide operating temperature range.

AeroShell Fluid 41 contains additives that provide excellent low-temperature fluidity, anti-wear protection, oxidation and corrosion inhibition, and good shear stability. Metal deactivators and foam inhibitors are also included in this high-viscosity-index fluid to enhance performance in demanding hydraulic applications.
