3M™ Aerospace Sealant AC-350 Class B is a fast-curing, two-component polysulfide sealant designed for aircraft fuel tank and fuselage applications. It provides excellent resistance to aviation fuels, chemicals and petroleum products while maintaining flexibility and bond strength across a wide range of metal and coated substrates.

Overview

3M™ Aerospace Sealant AC-350 Class B is a fast-cure, intermediate-density polysulfide sealant suitable for fuel tank and fuselage applications.

This two-component, manganese dioxide-cured sealant is solvent-free and provides excellent resistance to aviation gasoline, jet fuel, chemicals and petroleum products commonly encountered in the aircraft industry.

AC-350 Class B maintains flexibility and bond strength on many substrates including aluminium, titanium, steel, stainless steel, glass and a variety of coated surfaces, even under demanding temperature, weathering and stress conditions.

The mixed compound forms a thixotropic, non-sag paste that can be applied by extrusion gun, injection dispenser or spatula and offers excellent tooling characteristics.

Part number 051141-58064 has a minimum application time of approximately 2 hours and reaches sufficient cure in approximately 7 to 8 hours.
